HPCC President Dr. Ashok Tanwar launches Jan Sampark Abhiya at Panchkula

Panchkula, 9 October  ( Panjabi Tmes News) To further strengthen the Congress Party at the ground level, Dr. Ashok Tanwar, former M.P., President, Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee launched “Jan Sampark Abhiyan” in Sector 11 Market of Panchkula. He disclosed that campaign has started at all the district headquarters of Haryana by the local Party leaders and workers with full gusto. The abhiyan will continue till November 19, 2018, the birthday of former Prime Minister Late Smt. Indira Gandhi ji.

Dr. Tanwar said that during the Abhiyan, the Party workers will visit each home in the State to explain the policies of the Congress Party and also to expose the failures and scams of the Modi and Khattar Govt. and their inefficiency in providing security to women, dalits, backwards & minorities from day by day increasing atrocities. He said that the Party workers will also informed the people that BJP has conspired to decimate the social fraternity in the country & State and they should remain vigilant against these machinations. Pamphlets giving details of the failures of Modi and Khattar Govts. and they scams are also being distributed.

At the time of launching the Abhiyan, Dr. Tanwar was honoured by presenting a Blue Turban. Expressing his reaction, Dr. Tanwar said that the National President of INLD Shri Om Parkash Chautala had refused to accept blue turban at Gohana. This reflected the attitude of INLD towards dalits.  He said that the Congress Party represents all the 36 communities and has always stood by the dalits, backwards and weaker sections and is committed for uplift of these categories.  Referring to the visit of Prime Minister Mr. Narender Modi to Haryana, Dr. Tanwar said that the Prime Minister is keeping mum about the hardships being faced by the people. He visited Rewari earlier for a Sainik function and had promised to implement ‘One Rank-One Pension’, which later on proved a jumla. In the present visit to expect anything tangible will be foolishness. He said that the people have seen through the machinations of Modi and Khattar Governments and the people of Haryana and the country will not be taken in by the glib-talks of BJP leaders.

Dr. Tanwar led the Party workers marched through Sector 11 Market of Pachkula as part of ‘Jan Sampark Abhiyan’ and listened to the grievances of the shopkeepers and other people there. Narrating their hardships to Dr. Tanwar, the shopkeepers said that policies demonetization and GST etc. of the Modi Government have ruined their business. These Governments has slaughtered the people like got and chicken. Dr. Tanwar assured them that the Congress Party coming into power will remove these problems on priority basis. The shopkeepers assured Dr. Tanwar of their full support to the Congress Party.

Taling to the media, The HPCC President said that during this ‘Jan Sampark Abhiyan’ 10 “Booth Sahayogis” will be appointed for each booth and an Area Booth Coordinator (ABC) will be there for 100 Booth Sahayogis to superwise their working. He said that Abhiyan Samitis will be constituted and Pradesh, District and Block level shortly. These committees will include senior Party leaders and dedicated workers. During this Abhiyan special stress will be laid on enrolment of youth of 18-24 years as Party members. The booth sahayogis have been provided coupons of Rupees 50, 100, 500 & 1000 for collecting Party fund. He said that booth sahayogis will also educate the people to join ‘Shakti Abhiyan’ so that they can have a direct dialogue with the Congress Party Shri Rahul Gandhi. Dr. Tanwar claimed that in the coming Lok Sabha elections, the Congress Party will win all the 10 seats in Haryana and more than 80 seats of the State Vidhan Sabha.

Dr. Tanwar visits Traori Grain Market

Dr. Ashok Tanwar, President, Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee later in the day visited Taraori grain market and listened to the grievances of the farmers. He said that MSP for paddy is 1770 rupees per quintal but the farmers are compelled for distress sale at the rate of Rs. 1300-1400 per quintal. He said a couple of days earlier a farmer in Taraori tried to commit suicide due to hardship. Dr. Tanwar said that the BJP Government is not paying any heed towards the difficulties of the farmers as a result about 30 farmers are committing suicide daily. He said that Shri Modi today visited Sampla (Rohtak) to unveil the statue of Deenbandhu Sir Chhotu Ram, the benefactor of the farmers, but Shri Modi did not utter even a single word about the hardships being faced by the farmers.

18-year-old Woman Dies of Dengue in Hyderabad, Debt-distressed Father Struggles to Save Her Siblings

Hyderabad ,18 september ( Panjabi Times News) An eighteen-year-old woman, S Supriya, died of the mosquito-borne disease dengue in Hyderabad on September 13. The teenager was rushed from a Nalgonda private hospital, 101 kms from the Telangana capital, to a bigger private hospital in Hyderabad for her treatment. However, she started to bleed internally and externally. She was in the ICU for a day before succumbing to the mosquito-borne disease the next afternoon.Two of her younger siblings, 7-year-old Suryanarayana, and 5-year-old Sanjana, are also in the ICU of the same hospital, reported NDTV.
